Chapter 3, Page 21, Book 16

The Lord is our salvation
And our strength in every fight
Our redeemer and protector
Our eternal guiding light
He has promised to sustain us
He is our refuge from all harms
And underneath this refuge
Are the everlasting arms

Monday - March 21st - Planning Day

Faith and Reality United

For quite awhile now I’ve been on the journey of Lent moving toward Easter day.  If you’ve been following along you know it’s not been an easy journey for me.  This final week of Lent is often called Holy Week and it has many lessons for all of us.  It’s the breath and life of all I believe.

Holy Week is the last week of Lent, the week immediately preceding Easter or Resurrection Sunday.  Monday in Holy Week offers a pause, a chance to recollect from the drama of Palm Sunday before plunging into the sacred events to come.  Even though Monday can be the most hectic day of the week, don’t forget to carve out some quiet time for yourself today.

Life is a journey. Everything in it is a process. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end. All aspects of life are always developing. On our own journey through life, we may meet people who make our journey more difficult.

Life is motion. Without movement, advancement, and progression, there is no life. In other words, as long as you and I are alive, we are always going to be going somewhere.

If you have not been enjoying the journey of your life, it is time to start. If you have been enjoying your life, then thank God and look for ways to enjoy it even more.

Wait for the Lord with courage;
be stouthearted, and wait for the Lord.

Psalm 27:14

That scripture from Psalms is a favorite of mine. Its been a quick Lenten journey this year it seems. Enjoyed your thoughts about the journey that you have shared with us. I watched Tyler Perry's "The Passion" last night on TV as they told the story of Jesus this week between Palm Sunday and to Jesus' resurrection. I thought they did a pretty good job with it; took poetic license on a few things, but all in all a great presentation spreading the news of the gospel.

Words of Wisdom.

Life is indeed a process. Lots to learn here. "All aspects of life are always developing."
