Chapter 2, Page 6, Book 16

Life Is A Miracle

Life is a miracle
Don't let it slip away,
Open your heart to others
Give of yourself each day.

See the beauty in everyone
Regardless of where they've been,
Some have a difficult journey
And really need a friend.

Share your gifts and talents
Listen with your heart.
Do the things you dream about
But don't have time to start.

Pick a bouquet of flowers
Show someone that you care,
Be gracious and forgiving
Life is never fair.

Hold on to your courage
You may need it down the road,
We all have a cross to bear
It could be a heavy load.

If you practice all these things
No matter where you roam,
You may find both sun and rain
But you'll never feel alone!

February 6th - miracles in the making

Seeing, hearing, feeling, are miracles, and each part and tag of me is a miracle.

Walt Whitman

Have you ever planted seeds from a packet and sat back to see what would happen? With very little attention and just a little water and some sunshine, you soon see little sprouts popping up through the soil. It’s like watching a miracle!

Miracles come in moments. Be ready and willing.

Wayne Dryer

When you you find little ways to help a coworker who always seems overworked. Or you might love spending time with people, or you like to bring people little gifts that make them happy: a cup of coffee on a cold morning or a plate of cookies for an afternoon snack.

These are all seeds you can sow. They are much more than kind gestures; they are signs that you are actively going out of your way to bless the people around you.  Miracles happen when you scatter as many of them as you can.

Miracles happen every day. We just have to be one of them

We all have the opportunity every day to be a miracle in the making, to make a difference in someone’s life.

Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success; for who so hopes strongly has within him the gift of miracles.

Samuel Smiles

So true we can make miracles happen every day, just need to look for opportunities to do so:)

DITTO Betty.
Just thinking of life (Man, beast, sea or plant) can give you chills. To think that a tree will come from an acorn or Ears of Corn from one kernel.
As always, YOU got it!

You said a lot in this post today! Lots to think about.
Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend.

I don't think I've planted a seed since I was in Brownies!
Do you, by chance, follow Rory Feek's blog, "This Life I Live"? The other day he shared a beautiful story about his dying wife planting seedlings in egg shells.
Here's the link:

Now, I want to do that, too! .. for Joey!
