Chapter 2, Page 27, Book 16

The difference between stumbling blocks and stepping stones is how you use them

February 27th - difficulties are overcome with love

Trials and tribulations are stepping stones, not stumbling blocks

We all know what it’s like to have our daily routines disrupted by the expected.  Things like coffee spilled on our shirt just as we’re walking into the office, coming down with the flu and having to stay home, a refrigerator that breaks down. In the end, things work out, but you could have done without the lost time and the added frustration!

Life's up and downs provide windows of opportunity to determine your values and goals. Think of using all obstacles as stepping stones to build the life you want.

Marsha Sinetar

Lent is a journey, a pilgrimage, which in turn reminds us that no matter where we start from, our daily challenge is to overcome obstacles in our path a get to the intended destination.

Difficulties are stepping stones to success.

Life will have its obstacles, but you can make it through.  It's the joy and journey of clearing those obstacles that makes life rich, and helps people feel truly accomplished.  If you don't see the obstacle or believe it's a hindrance, you'll never reach your goals, blaming everything and everyone but the person responsible.

Life is filled with challenges, mistakes are made, hearts have been broken by cherished love, filling our hearts with grief and our eyes with pain. Make your life an up hill journey, forgive but you'll never forget, live and never regret, be inspired by GOD and his undying love, never-ending grace and mercy.
 Coleen Brissett

Be patient, The harder the obstacle, the more time it will take to overcome.

To conquer the challenges of Life, we need Love, Faith and Hope but the greatest weapon of all is LOVE.

I think we appreciate life more as we work through obstacles and go through tough times. If things were easy all the time, I don't think we would be as appreciative of the great gift life is.

Shucks, is this a good one lady. From the first quote (that I have never heard by the way!) to the end BE PATIENT quote. I think you made my day!

Cool here and still windy......

Boy, I can identify with daily disruptions!
Normally, my early morning rituals are spent moving in time to an invisible stopwatch ... no wasted steps; no siree.
Then, a few weeks ago I slapped my coffee cup under the Keurig and went to feed the dogs. 'Came back to find coffee everywhere, on account I'd set the cup upside down. (Ya, it was one of those "why me?!" moments.)
