Chapter 9, Page 9, Book 14

What you do makes a difference,
and you have to decide
what kind of difference
you want to make.

Jane Goodall

When you show up for the people in your life, even though you’re having a hard day, you make a difference. When you share what you’re dealing with, even though it makes you feel vulnerable, and help other people through your honesty, you make a difference.

When you practice what you preach, you make a difference.  When you honor your needs to create a sense of inner calm and well being that permeates your interactions with others, you  make a difference.

When you cut yourself some slack so you can use your energy to love, create, and inspire, you make a difference. When you give people the benefit of the doubt, you make a difference.

When you listen fully, instead of waiting to talk, you make a difference. When you focus more on being kind than being right, you make a difference.

When you find beauty in the world around you and help other people see it, you make a difference. When you realize that your everyday actions are your greatest legacy, you make a difference.

Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.

I love how we can make a difference in so many different situations just by choosing to respond in one way instead of another. That is a great way to live to truly make a difference!

Have a great Tuesday, Ma!

I like Betty's comment and say AMEN.

Also you make a couple points we all must really guard ourselves about, one is 'Listening' instead of waiting to talk. GOOD ADVICE.
Also loved the entry. I copied it and pasted it among "My good stuff". We are still over cast, but the rain has stopped.

I love this! I pray that I do make a difference!

This is so important. far too many people don't realize the difference they make.
