Chapter 6, Page 27, Book 14

The rest of summer, the rest of my life

To remember what’s most important

I have learned that the greatest life 'are not' things at all

C.W. Fortney

And  sometimes the the best things are not what you expect either.  I don’t know about you, but my life certainly has not turned out the way I expected it to.  Still and all life is good.

It seems in today’s world there are some that are living for things, but the most valuable things in this world are not things.  As you love things you will learn that things cannot return your love.  It’s the people in your life can return your love…not things.

I feel the saddest word in our vocabulary is ‘alone’ and the sweetest word is ‘together’.   You cannot place a value on the kiss of a loved one, the hug of a child, the tenderness of a friend, or the touch of someone being there when needed. Everyone needs a special hug, a kind word, encouragement, and someone to care.

The best things in life are not things.
It’s the people who make you feel loved and cared for

I guess we all didn't plan on certain outcomes of our lives.

Hopefully, for all...most is good things.

I spend a lot of time alone. So I appreciate your words of wisdom about that.

So true our lives don't turn out the way we thought, sometimes better, sometimes not as good, but always good to go through life with someone indeed, rather than alone.
