Chapter 4, Page 11, Book 13

One Thing to Never Forget

Your presence, is a present to the world.
You're unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be, what you want it to be.
Take the days, just one at a time.

Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You'll make it through, whatever comes along.
Within you, are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.

Don't put limits on yourself.
So many dreams, are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important, to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal and your prize.

Nothing wastes more energy, than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem, the heavier it gets.
Don't take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Remember, that a little love goes a long way.
Remember, that a lot of love goes forever.
Remember, that friendship is a wise investment.
Life treasures, are people... together.

Realize, that it's never too late.
Do ordinary things, in a extraordinary way.
Have health, hope and happiness.
Take the time, to wish upon a star.

And don't ever forget....
For even a day....
How very special you are.

The state or fact of existing, occurring, or being present in a place or thing.

Have you ever been invited to a party that requested:  no gifts, your presence is the only present wanted.  My children are always asking me what I want for a gift.  Most of all beyond any other gift my children could give me is their presence.  To have my children come home is the best gift this mom could ever receive.

There have been many times in their lives that my presence has meant a lot to them too.  By simply being present we can make others happy.

Deep in our hearts, we want our lives to matter. We want our presence here on earth to mean something. I think that we are all a part of a chain of life that can extend through the generations. Your influence on others lives, whether or not you see results, is immeasurable.

You know how a glass of spilled water seems to cover everything near it. It runs off the table and soaks into everything.  We are like that in everything we do and say.  Our actions and our words effect everyone around us.

My wish today would be that we could all spread loving kindness to all around us.

The warmth of a friend's presence brings joy to our hearts, sunlight to our souls and pleasure to all of life

I loved that poem today - and is is so true. If only now we all would follow it! sandie

LOVED the poem too. I think the word presence is a good one. Sharing a moment with somebody special can bring such joy, no material gift is needed.

You do come up with some great stuff by Mr. Unknown. This was another good one.
I liked the statement of yours, "Your presence is the only present requested". Or something to that affect.
