Chapter 3, Page 2, Book 13

You must welcome change as the rule but not as your ruler.

Denis Waitley

to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of something different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone

to transform or convert

When there are things about yourself that you need to change, here is a simple strategy that can be used: instead of focusing on the negative trait you are trying to overcome, try cultivating its opposite. If you tend toward passivity, cultivate zeal by stepping forward to help out. If you tend to be critical, practice appreciation by saying positive and encouraging things. If pride is your main temptation, cultivate humility by putting other people first. If you are impatient, cultivate patience by waiting longer before grumbling or even looking at your watch.

The biggest change that will soon be coming will be the arrival of Spring here.  It will transform my part of the world.  What has been nothing but ice and snow will suddenly turn into green grass growing, trees budding and flowers blooming.  Change can be a wonderful thing.

Change always comes bearing gifts.

Glad Spring will be here soon for you.

You know I live in Florida so it feels like Spring all year long here.

But being from New England originally, I understand that everyone is looking forward for the nice weather.

I feel spring is just about here. I know it can get cold again, but we've had two days in the fifties and I feel that winter is soon a memory. Have a great Saturday!

What a great idea - don't harp on the negative concentrate on the positive. I am sending this to someone I know. Thanks.

Had to smile about this. We have a grocery store here by the name RULER.
