The most beautiful people we have known
are those who have known defeat,
known suffering, known struggle, known loss,
and have found their way out of the depths.
These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity,
and an understanding of life that fills them
with compassion, gentleness,
and a deep loving concern.
Beautiful people do not just happen.

Beautiful is a word I use a lot.  There are many beautiful things and people in this world.  I have even called some foods beautiful now and then.  I think that anything that leaves me with a feeling of awe is what I call beautiful.

I like what Elisabeth Kubler Ross said about beautiful people; I too agree with her perspective. We truly do have a beautiful world when we open our eyes up and see all that God has created for us!

I think the things we go thru in life chisel us - and it can make us beautiful or ugly.
