I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.
Luke 2:10-12
Tuesday December 18th: JOY
Like hope and beauty, joy comes as a gift, as grace. I believe that is God's wish for us - to be filled with Joy. We do have so many reasons to be joyful this Advent season as we remember the great gift that came down from heaven .
Romans 8:28 promises us that all things work for good for those who love God. Often it does not seem that way. Many are hurting from the loss of loved ones, or maybe they lost a job, or it could be they are fighting with their relatives. This Advent season is the perfect time to release old hurts and accept the gifts of love and peace and mercy that await us when we celebrate the miracle of God’s greatest gift.
May Joy fill your heart today and always !!
Hope for the future gives joy, and faith for the present gives peace.

So true. There is that sense of newness--of starting again!
God works in mysterious ways. But He always gives us Hope. God's blessings to you.
I like the thought of this Advent season to release old hurts and accept the girts of love and peace and mercy; it is a good time to do so indeed! I do like your saying too that hope for the future gives joy and faith for the present gives peace. Now to live like that!
