Chapter 12, Page 14, Book 12

Best of all, Christmas means a spirit of love, a time when the love of God and the love of our fellow men should prevail over all hatred and bitterness, a time when our thoughts and deeds and the spirit of our lives manifest the presence of God.

George F. McDougall

Friday, December 14th, LOVE

Tis the season to share. To love. To give ourselves to something bigger than any of us. 'Tis the season to turn our heads, tune our hearts and worship a Savior whose birth turned this world upside-down.  It's hard to imagine what our world was like before the birth of Jesus.  We can read all about it in the scriptures, but for those like me that grew up knowing Him, life wouldn't be the same.

Many of the activities we plan for our family don’t turn out as we hope or expect, but they can still be important times we spend together. Our lives don’t always go according to plan.  But we can focus on the love we share and celebrate the time we have together.

LOVE CAME DOWN AT CHRISTMAS. That is the message for the all time. Love was born in the manger in Bethlehem.

Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most.

Enjoyed the read. Thanks. Now we are off for 7 days of cruising the Carribean. Will miss the daily boosts. Take care, and stay warm.

I love that love came down at Christmas; that is the best description of the wonderful gift God gave us with Jesus!
