Chapter 3, Page 3, Book 12

Remember that woodpeckers INSIDE are a larger threat than the storm outside

Lesson from the Ark

The woodpeckers on the INSIDE are often a bigger threat to your overall well being than the storms raging on the outside

What's so special about an egg, a pencil, and us? It's the inside that counts. If you are hungry, you don't crack the egg and throw away the inside do you? Of course not

What good is a pencil if it doesn't have any lead? It won't write, will it?

It's what's inside here (mind) and here (in the heart) that counts

It’s inner beauty that counts. We don’t pick our friends because they’re pretty or skinny, we pick them because we enjoy spending time with them. They make us laugh, stick with us through hard times, are honest and reliable.

It's not nearly so important what we look like on the outside as what we really are on the inside.

Most  lasting relationships are built on more than good looks.  That is what other people look for in you too!

Were you the first to smile at someone today?
Were you the first to say hello to someone today?
If you saw someone new, did you introduce yourself?
Did you say something encouraging to someone today?
Were you kind today?
Were you cheerful today?

If you can answer these questions with a yes, then you are a beautiful person

It's not what happens to us on any given day that makes us happy or unhappy, but rather our reaction, our attitude toward those events.  Some people are so busy taking care of the outside, they forget to nurture the positive elements of what is on the inside.

I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful

When we show the world the wonderful and unique gift inside of each one of us, they will see the treasure for what it is worth.

Don't let fear of what is on the outside steal that precious gift away.

Have a SUPER Saturday everyone!

I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful!

Good stuff MA!

You can't judge a book by it's cover. It's what's inside that counts, for sure. Food for thought about the woodpecker and ark. Take care, MA.
