Chapter 12, Page 19, Book 10

Father, thank you for your love shown in Jesus. We ask you to help us keep a candle of love alight in our hearts and souls. We ask you to help us love each other in your name. We ask you to help us find ways to show that love to everyone we meet so that we do become a force of Your love in this world.

This is the fourth Sunday of Advent and today we light all 4 of the candles in our Advent Wreaths. The fourth candle represents LOVE.

During Advent we have thought about hope, peace, joy and love. The gifts that have been given to us to make our lives worth living and that making living worthwhile.

Last Sunday we lit the candle of joy. We light it, and the candles of
hope and peace again as we remember that Christ will come again and bring us everlasting peace and joy
The fourth candle of Advent is the Candle of Love.
It's light is meant to remind us of the love that God has for us
Love is patient, love is kind and envies no one.
Love is never boastful or conceited, rude or selfish
Love is not quick to take offense,
it keeps no records of troubles, but rejoices in the right, the good,
it does not gloat over other people's mistakes.
Love never ends. There is nothing that love cannot face,
there is no limit to its faith, to its hope, to its endurance.
We light this candle remembering the love needed in the world.
We light this candle remembering we are called to love God.
We light this candle remembering we are called to love our neighbour.

May love be in your life, May hope be in your heart, May peace be in our world. Wishing you a happy Christmas and a relaxing and restful Sunday. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as always.

Love came down at Christmas;
Love all lovely, love divine;
Love was born at Christmas,
Stars and angels gave the sign

Wonderful candle to light so close to Christmas, Ma, since Jesus is Love and we are getting ready to celebrate his birth! Without his love, we would not have the ability to love deeply and unconditionally as he loves us! May your day be a restful one!

Love is the most wonderful of all gifts, given and received. I also love the verse by Rossetti.

Enjoy the rest of your R & R day.
