Chapter 8, Page 2, Book 10

Wear a smile - one size fits all.

It's MERRY Monday!

I'm smiling this morning and happy to greet a new day and a new week. We're now at the beginning of a new month too!
August is always a busy month for most people as come September schools will be back in session. People always seem to try and fit in any vacations or outings that they can before the bad weather comes again.

I've certainly enjoyed my summer and hope to continue to do so too. I don't have any small children to get ready for school but the nice weather is something I always try to take advantage of.

A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

Mondays are often the hardest day of the week. Getting back into the daily routine after a restful weekend isn't easy for most of us. That's why I decided to celebrate Merry Mondays. It's just a reminder to my self that starting the day with a SMILE can start the day off right.

Have a MERRY Monday everyone!
