Chapter 10, Page 12, Book 09

A Creed to Live By
Don't determine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.
Don't set your goals by what others deem important.
Only you know what is best for you.
Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart;
cling to them as you would your life,
for without them life
is meaningless.
Don't let your life slip through your fingers
by living in the past or for the future.
By living your life ONE DAY AT A TIME
you will live all the days of your life.
Don't give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over...
until the moment you stop trying.
Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect;
it is this fragile thread that binds us to each other.
Don't be afraid to encounter risks,
It's by taking chances we learn how to be brave.
Don't shut LOVE out of your life
by saying it's impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive LOVE is to give LOVE,
the fastest way to lose LOVE is to hold it too tightly
and the best way to keep LOVE is to give it wings.
Don't dismiss your dreams.
To be without dreams is to be without HOPE;
To be without HOPE is to be without purpose.
Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only
Life isn't a race, but......IT'S A JOURNEY --

It’s Monday morning once again. Here we are ready to start a new day and a new week. I guess I’m about as ready for that as possible.
Life for me is now going to slow down quite abit as this past weekend was our last weekend of camping. The weather has turned unusually cold so we all decided it was time to stop. Next Saturday we’ll go do the winterizing needed for the campers but no camping will be done.
From now until mid April sometime my days will be quite different from the past 6 months. Life for me will be filled with many quiet days indoors. The only times I get out are usually to go to work or rake leaves or shovel snow.
The snow part isn’t too far away they say. I took a look at the long range forecast for next weekend and saw some snow flakes pictured there.
It’s been rather chilly here and only going to get colder for sure.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference

I agree, what a wonderful creed. Sorry your camping is coming to an end. Now it's time to get out some good books and read, what do you think?

The snow didn't stay here however we are below normal temps. Even beautiful BC which is normally warm is cold.

Hope you have a wonderful week.

wow snow already (possibly)! I wonder if that means it will be a wetter winter

we got a touch of chill in the air here today with maybe rain (which we desperately need) tomorrow and Wednesday but I know it is nothing like the chill you have in your part of the country

I think the good books idea is a good one too. Also, there are plenty of movies that are out since last winter so you can catch up on the movies too. I hope your winter is an easy one and you don't have to shovel too much snow. Ugh! I can't imagine having to do that in the cold. But it is probably a great workout. Have a good week Ma.
