Chapter 5, Page 12, Book 09

Today, I choose awareness.
I choose to be aware of the beauty of life and living.
I choose to be aware of the simple truths in life.
I choose to be aware of the simple pleasures in life.
I choose awareness of joy.
I choose awareness of peace.I choose awareness of love.
I choose to see, to feel, to know,
the presence of divine energy in myself and those around me.
Today, I choose to be aware
and to embrace all that is good, noble, and divine.
As my awareness of joy, peace, love,
and goodness grows in my consciousness, joy, peace, love,
and goodness become the reality in which I live.
For this I am so grateful!
And So It Is!
Iyanla Vanzant

Simplicity deepens life. It magnifies the simple virtues on which people's survival depends: humility, faith, courage, serenity, honesty, patience, justice, tolerance, thrift

Wilferd A. Peterson

I really do think that the key to most everything is keeping things simple. When we are full of complexity, things happen that we are not even aware of. Drama seems to be a way of life. As I age, I found that the simple ways are often the very best. The less I want, the less I need.
Simple foods seem to taste better than the gourmet ones. Simple clothing that is comfortable is better than a lot of finery for me.
In today's world of hustle, bustle and busy lives, the simple life can be hard to find. It seems that the home can often become a rest stop to refresh a moment and then move onto the next activity. Life can become too busy.
Simple living, to me, is taking a slower walk in life and appreciating the things that go to making our lives complete and fulfilling

Year by year the complexities of this spinning world growmore bewildering and so each year we need all the moreto seek peace and comfort in the joyful simplicities.
