Chapter 2, Page 20, Book 09

Hope is not a matter of waiting for things outside of us to get better. It is about getting better inside about what is going on outside.
Jack Reimer

GOOD MORNING !

It’s finally the last day of the work week and I’m ready for the weekend!
Tomorrow, weather permiting, my Camping Buddies and I are meeting for lunch to celebrate the fact that winter is almost over and make some plans for what we’ll be doing when the camp ground opens.

I call us the ‘Party Hill’ gang. Half of the people there will be my family but there are others that camp near by that are coming too. It’ll be so good to see every one. Party Hill is the name the campground gave the area where we camp as right in front of us is a large area for weekend tent campers. It seems to me though, that we permanent campers do much more partying than the people in the tent area do.

We’ll have a few new campers around us this year too. They had reserved the sites in the fall but we’ve not met them yet. I hope they are as great as the people we have now. We all get along so well and everyone helps each other out when needed too.

It seems the campground is growing in leaps and bounds as so many people have chosen to camp permanently instead of travel so they can save money. Times are tough and even campers are affected. If you want something that doesn’t cost of lot of money and is very restful, camping will do it for sure.

Have a happy Friday everyone!

Sounds like so much fun. We use to camp all the time when I was a child. I think we slept on the ground, in chairs, on the back of trucks, in tents & etc. I couldn't do that now, but I could if a had a camper like you. I believe I would enjoy it too. Have fun at the get together.

Sounds like a lot of fun. We use to camp too until we had a leaky tent and that did it for me. Hopefully we will take it up again in the coming years. Have fun.

We used to camp a lot until our health got to be a problem. We had our camper at three different campgrounds through the years. Met a lot of people and had big fish fries. Fish and most of the trimmings was provided by Ken and me. Then others would bring things at times. Have a fun summer. Helen

It was said on our Local News this week Ma that camping holidays have trebled in bookings here in England for this summer Ma, due to the slump.People cannot afford to go abroad nowadays it's far too expensive to take the whole family during school holiday breaks. They are not allowed off school now any other time and inside the school holiday the travel company's rise there prices far too high and airline tickets too..So it looks like the camp grounds in England are going to be very popular this year too.Lets hope God Is Good and provides them with some nice sunny weather. No guarantee of that much in England, but we can pray for them. The pictuers are fantastic and you look lovely realy well.Thankyou for taking time out to share them.Take Care God Bless Have a lovely Sunday Kath xx
