I said a Valentine prayer for you
Happy Valentines Day!
I remember when the ‘babes’ were little we gave them each their own heart shaped box of chocolates. They treasured those boxes and thought they were very special having their own.
Of course the chocolates did very little in showing them how much we loved them. Many other things we did for them really were more valuable but I’m sure that didn’t even occur to them then. Hopefully as they look back they will remember now just how much their parents did indeed love them and I still do of course.
My family is a gift that surpasses any flowers, jewelry or perfume that I could have ever be given. I only hope they will find as much joy in their families as I’ve found in mine.
I was blessed for 27 years with a wonderful loving husband and because of him I like to think I’m a better person than I would have been if I’d never known him.
DD and I will go on our ‘President’s Day’ sale shopping today. Hopefully I’ll be able to share some good finds with you all tomorrow.
A loving heart, a gentle smile
a warm and tender touch
We give so many things in life
but nothing means as much.
A little inspiration
when one loses hope,
A kind word of encouragement
when they no longer seem to cope.
A simple phrase, "I love you"
when no one else is there
Taking hold onto a hand
in a little heartfelt prayer.
Love is never silent
It has so much to say,
And it is our greatest blessing
when we give it all away.
Spread some love today!
‘On Ya’- ma
Love like paint, can make things beautiful
when you spread it,but it simply dries up
when you don't use it.
