It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home.

The Angel of December...is the angel of generosity.
The December angel celebrates with us this time of giving gifts to all the wild creatures and to all of God's children.

The angel of December leads us to join hands with people of all races and religions, recognizing that we are children of the same creator, and we all share the responsibility of bringing joy and health upon the earth.

Inspired by December's angel, we can celebrate this season of brotherhood by doing one act of kindness every day of December ~ going out of our way to bring warmth and light into another's life

During Advent,
take time to see our children playing
take time to see the Christmas lights
take time to hear the carols message
take time to hear the crunch of snow
take time to tell the Jesus story
take time to speak to those alone
take time to feel, smell, and taste
life's too short to grumble
life's too short to worry
life is a gift . . . unwrap it!

GOOD MORNING !

Peace be with you.
Who today isn’t longing for peace—in their hearts, their homes, the world?
For the month of December my topics are going to be many and varied. With options like brotherhold, kindness, gifts, hope, JOY, and Light it is going to be fun searching for some words of inspiration for us all.

The joyous season of the year is approaching and we have so much to appreciate. The joys of the season mean so much to so many and it is the reason we enjoy the process of giving

We can enjoy the love of being with one another plus all the blessings to be among the living and remember those that we once knew but are still apart of our memories and the joy of their past in our lives if we are willing

The things we’ve done in the past and the people that we’ve spent time with all help to make us what we are and affect what we do. You know I do try to stay on the ‘bright side’ of life and even though things happen that are not of our choosing, we can rejoice in each day and the blessings in it.

Take it easy. Don't over extend yourself. Your goal should be to enjoy the Holiday Season. If you find this season to be difficult because of a tragedy such as the loss of your partner, child, or what ever it might be remember that you can reshape and refresh the season and make it fun and fulfilling once again. Try making a few changes to your traditions and above all don't try to live out the expectations others. Healing takes time, patience and sometimes a fresh new look

The First Sunday of Advent began the Sunday after Thanksgiving on St. Andrews Day the 30th of November. I am aspiring to do an Advent entry each week in my HOLIDAY journal for all to read if they wish.

We are preparing for Christmas with the hope of making it more meaningful in our lives. It’s my wish that today and every day the spirit of Christmas will remain in our hearts.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

A Poem of Hope
By Author Unknown

Never go gloomy, use your mind,
Hope is a better companion than fear;
Providence, ever benignant and kind,
Gives with a smile what you take with a tear;
All will be right, Look to the light.
Morning was ever the daughter of night;
All that was black will be all that is bright.
Many a foe is a friend in disguise,
Many a trouble a blessing most true,
Remember these words of wisdom and wise,
Your life will be easier and you will not be blue.
Never lose your hope,
follow your plan
And live life doing all that you can

Christmas, my child, is love in action.

Every time we, love~ every time we give,

it's Christmas.
