Chapter 11, Page 9, Book 08

Sing, sing a song
Make it simple to last your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not good enough
For anyone else to hear
Just sing, sing a song.

Joe Raposo

You have your songs, just as I have mine. What are your songs, and what does it take to make you sing them? The more you share those songs with the world, the brighter you make this world of ours, and the lighter you make the loads for the people whose paths cross yours

I hope you all are having a great weekend. I’m just thankful I’m getting a few things done around my house. The weather isn’t very enticing so I found it a great time to be indoors anyway.

I will be singing today at church, we always have at least 4 or 5 hymns we sing and all are related to the scriptures being read. I have my favorites that I almost know by heart, but every now and then they slip in a new one and confuse us a bit. Isn’t that like life all together.

We get comfortable and something comes along to change that.

I’m trying to get used to being by my self now on the weekends. It’s hard not having anyone to do things with and I do miss those hugs and smiles for sure. I’ll get a phone call here and there with one or the other of my babes checking in, but it is definitely not the same.

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers as always! I hope you bless yourself with a little R & R today, I’m going to for sure.

If one could only learn to appreciate the little things...A song that takes you away, for there are those who cannot hear. The beauty of a sunset, for there are those who cannot see.The warmth and safety of your home, for there are those who are homeless.

Time spent with good friends for there are those who are lonely.A walk along the beach for there are those who cannot walk. The little things are what life is all about.Search your soul and learn to appreciate.

‘On Ya’ –ma

A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Lovely thought provoking entry for a Sunday. We were in the company of people with the same interest as ourselves yesterday when we went to see the little American duck. It is lovely to chat as we are always so quiet here. By the way our little duck will winter here and then try to get back in the Spring. Or just maybe she like it here who can say. Love Joan.

Lets all sing together that surely would make a better happier world ~ glad you are getting things done around your house ~ The weather isn't very good here at the moment ~ but the trees are covered with the most beautiful coloured leaves and the paths are covered in the leaves falling from the trees it is a wonderful sight ~ Ally x
