Chapter 11, Page 29, Book 08

We find by losing.
We hold fast by letting go.
We become something new by ceasing to be something old.
This seems to be close to the heart of that mystery.
I know no more now than I ever did about the far side
of death as the last letting-go of all,
but now I know that I do not need to know,
and that I do not need to be afraid of not knowing.
God knows. That is all that matters.
Frederick Buechner

Grief is something we go through for ourselves, something that allows us to make a transition from having to not having. When we grieve, we focus on our loss, our "new" life without this person, a response that allows us to deal with the pain of loss and get on with our lives.

Today we’ll be faced with the reality that my beloved little grandson will never be with us again . He’ll be forever alive in our thoughts and in our hearts so I don’t like to say we are saying good bye.

Please continue to hold my family fast in your prayers. My hope is that healing of hearts can now begin and that the JOY of family and life will remain in their spirits. Love endures and binds us together. Caring and sharing life’s joys and sorrows is what it is all about. Celebrating the lives of our loved ones in good times and bad, holding each other close and supporting them in times of need is what family is all about.

You all remain in my thoughts and prayers and although I’m not keeping in touch the way I should be I want you to know that I’m so thankful for all of you.

God can heal your heart.

God can rescue you from despair

and give yousomething to rejoice about again.

It won't happen overnight, but it will happen.

All you have to do is be willing

to give every piece of your broken heart to God

‘On Ya’- ma

One of the hardest deaths to have go through is the death of a child....I am grieving right along with heart is breaking for you and I pray that the good Lord will keep His arms tightly around you and your children today...and in the days to come...

" Father; hold them up when they feel like they no longer can stand" Amen.
God bless you and keep you in His Holy Light.

I know this is so hard for you and your family, Ma, but you are showing the world how a Christian family mourns; what a wonderful testimony you are giving to the Lord in how you are dealing with this, although I know it is one of the hardest things your family has ever gone through; prayers are with you all
