As of today we sort of have a plan for the week ahead. DS#5 and I are headed for DS#3’ s house early this morning to be there in time to make breakfast for them all. We’ll be spending the entire day with them. DS#4 and family, DD and DS#6 and his wife will come in a little later in the day.

DS#1 and family will probably come in on Wednesday along with DS#2.

On Thanksgiving Day we are all going to DS#3’s for our family feast. My DDIL#3’s family and all my family will be there and we’ll all be taking something to share. At this point they need family around them and want all of us there

Funeral plans have been made. Thursday will be the visitation at the funeral home which will probably be limited to just family. My son and his wife are just not up to a lot of visitors and conversation right now. The funeral service at their church will be Saturday morning at 11:00 and all are invited to that. After the burial everyone there will be invited back to the church for a little luncheon. The ladies at the church provide everything which is so very generous of them..

At this point no determination has been made on the cause of death. They are still waiting for some of the tests to be returned and maybe something will show up in them. Right now it is totally unknown.

I’m just so overwhelmed by all the thoughts and prayers from so many people. When things are a little more peaceful, I’m making sure that my son and his wife take a look at this journal to see how many people left messages of prayers and concern.

I can tell those prayers are working too. THANK YOU!

Seven Things To Be Thankful For
for automatic dishwashers. They make it possible to get out of the kitchen before the family come in for their after-dinner snacks.
for husbands who attack small repair jobs around the house. They usually make them big enough to call in professionals.
for the bathtub -- the one place the family allows Mom some time to herself.
for children who put away their things and clean up after themselves. They're such a joy you hate to see them go home to their own parents.
for gardening. It's a relief to deal with dirt outside the house for a change.
for teenagers. They give parents an opportunity to learn a second language.
for smoke alarms. They let you know when the turkey's done

forget the day's troubles.

It has amazed me how in times of trial just kind words from my blogging friends has made a difference. Even if it's someone I've never heard of sent over by somebody else, it really does make a difference. You are being thought of in many homes through all this, and prayed for.

we will continue to hold your family in our prayers; especially on Sunday, and praying that they will be able to figure out a cause for this tragedy in case it is preventable for others in the future; again I'm sooo sorry

That is so wonderful that all the family will be able to be together. Love and support goes so far when things happen that we don't understand.
Continued prayers going out to your son and his family and all the rest of you on the loss of your precious angel.
Take care, Chrissie
