Chapter 11, Page 17, Book 08

Are we really grateful for the good already received?
Then we shall avail ourselves of the blessings we have,
and thus be fitted to receive more

Mary Baker Eddy

Express love everyday, in some tangible way. Say it, send it in a card, give it in a hug or a glowing compliment. Compliments cost nothing and are a fabulous gift for both the receiver and the giver. Think of how someone beams when they’re genuinely complimented.

You can’t buy that contentment, but you sure can give it away

GOOD MORNING !

Brrrchill! It is so cold out that I’m hating to have to leave my nice warm house today, but I’ve got to be grateful for my job lest I not have it any longer. And in being grateful off to work I go.

One of the things about being in a one gal office is that they really do count you being there each day. Besides that it is payroll day and you know all those guys want to get paid and so do I.

I didn’t get very far on my Christmas craft this weekend as I was missing an important part of what was needed so I’ll be going to the craft store today on my lunch hour and hope that they have it. I thought I was all prepared, but one of my human fallacies is that I probably have it and just can’t find it.
I have a whole lot of things that have gone to never never land.
I’m in that research department more often than not.
I search and re-search.

After Thanksgiving is over I’ll be on the search for the Christmas cards I bought at the end of last year. Wish me luck…

Today I’m thankful for my job and the ability to do it.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Every time we remember to say 'thank you',
we experience nothing less than heaven on earth.
Sarah Ban Breathnach

God, please give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference.

It sure is cold here too. I know what you mean about putting things up & later not being able to find it. Good luck on your Christmas card hunt. Have a great day!

I know the feeling.I came to do something today and then remembered what I had bought for the job I must have left it at the store last Friday.I realised with my receipt I had paid for it but didn't remember packing it.A phone call to the store today verified I had left it behind and was awaiting pick up.I must leave a note at the store when I go collect it to say thankyou to the honest person who handed it in.I hope your Mnday proves to be a good one.Take care God Bless.Kath xx

Cold here too first thing now raining and misty. I wrote in my diary a December entry at the start of the year I was not needing Christmas cards this year and I know exactly where I put them too call me smarty pants but I am pleased as I usually buy a lot and then find the ones from last year just as I am about to write them. So I am thankful today. Love Joan

I know how hard it must be to get out early in the COLD. I know because I've done it many times to the point that my hands would be numb even with leather gloves and long leather coat. SOOO,today I am very thankful I don't have to anymore. Have a good day :).....

a great thing to be grateful for truly in your job/ability to do it!!

I think a year ago if we were to imagine how bad the economy was goind to be this year, we would never have believed it (at least I wouldn't have); it does make me so grateful I have a job and makes it hard to complain about it when so many are out there looking
