Chapter 10, Page 24, Book 08

Traveler: What kind of weather are we going to have today?
Shepherd: The kind of weather I like.
Traveler: How do you know it will be the kind of weather you like?
Shepherd: Having found out, sir, I cannot always get what I like, I have learned always to like what I get. So I am quite sure we will have the kind of weather I like.
Anthony De Mello

October is coming to an end now, making way for the colder months here in the northern hemisphere--I hope that it has been a beautiful month for you and that you'reable to make November one of your best months ever.

This fall is fast fleeting and soon old winter will be here. Cozy nights indoors are becoming a way of life for me. It does seem a little strange after having spent so much outdoor time this year. It is becoming way too cold to do anything much outside besides raking leaves or taking the beagle for a few short walks. Nature balances things out for us and teaches us that we too need a rest.

Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.

Good Moning, after a few hour of very heavy rain again today it is now clearing to blue sky. I don't mind the winter as long as I have my favourite cardigan and knee rug when I need it. I find a rug makes all the difference on a cold winter night even with the heating on. LOve Joan

Like Joan, we awoke to heavy rain and very dull skies. Chilly as weel but we have hazy sunshine now. I used to love the winters when we had snow but that is something that does not happen in this area anymore. Have a great weekend.

Good morning :) I'd like to say I will enjoy any kind of weather but after two hurricanes ripping through here I don't think I can say that. This morn is a winter day (44*) and this eve will be a fall day of 76* :)........alice

Wow, sounds cold there. It's going to be 50's here and I saw a forecast that mentioned the thirties. Hope that you get everything squared away from the camper and can relax some this weekend. Whatever you do have a good one!

I liked the thought of the day; I'd substitute it with Hebrews 13:5
October is winding down for sure; our weather keeps saying summer :)
