Chapter 10, Page 21, Book 08

The secret to being rich lies in remembering that
friendships are priceless, time is invaluable,
health is wealth, and love is a treasure.
Create a nest egg of beautiful memories
that you can dip into from time to time to ease any sorrows.

Have the kind of remembrances
that raise you up with their worth and keep you there with their wonder.

Always have a supply of hopes on hand
to help you plan your tomorrows.
Remember that when you invest in your dreams,
it is impossible to overpay.
Give away smiles, and watch them come back to you
a hundred times over.
Stuff your pockets with kindness and optimism;
there is nothing more precious in the world.
I'm sharing this advice with you today
because you are a treasured piece in the puzzle of my life.

Do we have enough? Will we have enough? Navigating tough financial times causes some level of anxiety for everyone. Yet, the stories of our great faith traditions happily remind us that no one is ever too poor to give — or to benefit from the blessings that giving generates

Good Morning !

I’m spending some time today just counting my many blessings.

I am rich beyond measure and have so much to be thankful for.

My wealth includes good health and my family and friends are my treasures.

So often people stress out over money issues and they don’t stop to realize the real value of what they do have.

All that glitters is not golden for sure.

I hope you’ll join me in making that list today…the list of all the treasures that money can’t buy.

I’m giving away a free ‘SMILE’ today, I do hope I get some back

If at times you feel you want to cry
And life seems such a trial
Above the clouds there's a bright blue sky
So make your tears a smile.
As you travel on life's way
With its many ups and downs
Remember its quite true to say
One smile is worth a dozen frowns.
Among the worlds expensive things
A smile is very cheap
And when you give a smile away,
You get one back to keep.
Happiness comes at times to all
But sadness comes unbidden
And sometimes a few tears must fall
Among the laughter hidden.
So when friends have sadness on their face
And troubles round them piled
The world will seem a better place
And all because you smiled.

I agree we spend a lot of time counting those blessings even although health for me is not one.
But I thank God for giving the strength to cope

I have a Holly Hobby plate in my kitchen that says "You can never be poor if you have a friend." Something like true it is.

I know we are struggling financially right now but God always provides for us and I know HE will continue to do so. Thanks for the lovely entry today and the smile! Tossing one back at ya!

You are always so full of wisdom. We all need to count our blessings more, and I should be first in line. Thanks for reminding me.

so true to count our blessings! we have much to be thankful for when we start thinking of things we take for granted that others would like to have; like running water, freedom to vote, etc

good entry; enjoy Wednesday
