Chapter 10, Page 16, Book 08

How about FALL Resolutions?
(After 9 months of not keeping the new year's ones)

Give up complaining . . . focus on gratitude.
Give up pessimism . . . become an optimist.
Give up harsh judgments . . . think kind thoughts.
Give up worry . . . trust divine providence.
Give up discouragement . . . be full of hope.
Give up bitterness . . . turn to forgiveness.
Give up hatred . . . return good for evil.
Give up negativism . . . be positive.
Give up anger . . . practice patience.
Give up pettiness . . . put on maturity.
Give up gloom. . . enjoy the beauty that is all around you.
Give up jealousy . . . pray for trust.
Give up gossiping . . . control your tongue.
Give up sin. . . . turn to virtue.

Do you remember what your New Year resolutions were? How have you done with your list? One of my resolutions was to treat my self better and I’m pretty sure I’ve done a good job of that this past summer.

This is the last day of my work week as I’m off now to the camper for 3 days. It will be the last full weekend of camping and I’ve got some work to do there too. Everything must be packed up and stored away for the winter. I want to give my camper a good cleaning too. I don’t want to leave any crumbs behind for any critters to find.

We hope to go and visit the Amish Grocery Store on Saturday. It has loads of good things not just food. It will be fun and probably costly too! I always find some good things to buy there. We camp in the heart of Amish country here in Ohio and no matter where you go it seems they have something for sale from cheese to furniture.

I’ll be back Sunday evening with all the news of my weekend. I’ll be thinking about and praying for each one of you. May your weekend be a great one.

All of us could take a lesson from the weather
It pays no attention to criticism

Good morning, I enjoyed your poem at the beginning. That's a good one to start the day.
Hope your work day goes fast so you can hop to camping. Enjoy every bit of it and soak it in so it can hold you til spring.
We will be going to a Mennonite community today.

Have a great weekend. The Amish store sounds wonderful. I wish I could check it out. As for cleaning the camper, I need to get out to our motorhome and do the same thing. I cleaned the sheets and towels after the last use but haven't vacuumed it yet and it's been weighing heavily on my mind. Maybe this weekend I will get it done too.

I'm getting caught up here, I've had some bad days with a new medicine I'm taking, but today I've been able to sit up all day without being dizzy or sick!
Love the fall resolutions...I think I'm going to pick a few and try very hard to stick to them, I need to do better in my life. Thanks for the gentle reminder.

Pooh Hugs,
