But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength:
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint
Isaiah 40:31
When your life is not going so well, do you ask, "How long?" beforesomething good happens?
Do you ever ask, "How long,
O Lord, how long? My soul is in anguish. How long, O Lord, how long? Turn, O Lord,and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. No oneremembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave? I amworn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weepingand drench my couch with tears. My eyes grow weak with sorrow; theyfail because of all my foes. Away from me, all you who do evil, forthe Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my cry for mercy;the Lord accepts my prayer. All my enemies will be ashamed anddismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace.
Psalm 6:3-10
When you ask, "How long?" remember the response: The Lord has heard mycry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer.

Waiting is a part of the divine design of things. Waiting is no accident, it is purposed.While we may not be able to do what we would most like to do, we can do what God has given us to do, while we wait on the Lord to fulfill His promises and purposes.
You can almost always plan on the fact that God will make you wait for what is best. He is never late, but He is also seldom quick. But of this fact I can assure you: When God's plan is for you to wait, He will make it all worth the wait.
