It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home.

You are a dwelling place
for the Source of all life.
-Macrina Widerkehr

One of the favorite parts of the day is enjoying a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Especially on a cold winter day when the liquid brings warmth to our bodies. The coffee cup reminds us that containers are meant to hold something refreshing.

We are containers meant to hold the Divine Presence. God dwells within us. In John 15:4 Jesus says 'Make your home in Me.' The Holy Spirit is here within us. We rush through the days forgetting that God is in us. We need to take time to be aware of how God travels with us.

John 15: 4
Abide in me as I abide in you.
I Corinthians 3:16
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in You.
I am most aware of God's dwelling within me when I go to Communion each Sunday

He renews and refreshes me.

As I reflect on the Divine Presence dwelling with my self and others, I hope that I never show disrespect in any form to myself and others. That what I do or what I say only shows the Love of God in me.

Dear God, you have tended and nutured me and enriched my spirit.
You have surrounded me with your Love.

Today I will place my hand on my heart and remember that God dwells within me.

'On Ya' - ma
