Chapter 12, Page 1, Book 20

We only have what we give.

Isabel Allende

December 1st - giving is a choice

No one has ever become poor by giving.

Anne Frank

Giving is the key to success, fulfillment, prosperity and a life of prosperity.  The world needs more people who go into the world and give their all to aide in the betterment of society.  People need t stand up and start adding value to other peoples lives by being of service and living selflessly.  You get what you give, the good you put into the world will return to you in abundance.

We can all make a difference in someone’s life by sharing a little of what we have.  It doesn’t have to b a lot, every little bit matters.  When we choose got to give, we change, and the people around us change .  When we move from awareness to action, miracles happen.  When we allow giving to be our idea, a world of possibilities opens up before us, and we discover new levels of joy.

Giving is not just about making a donation, its about making a difference.

Kathy Calvin

There are many ways to tap into the heart of generosity. To be truly generous requires us to step beyond ourselves.  If we’re not careful, we give in a way that serves only our own needs  When it comes to giving we tend to think in terms of material things.  But there is another way to give and that is with our time.  Time to serve others.  We could help with child care or a meal.  It can even be the gift of encouragement.  Maybe we just need to take the time to listen..  When we give of ourselves its a gift of genuine mindfulness.

May we all find generosity at every level this holiday season.  We all need take a stand,  we all have it to give away.

If you have much, give of your wealth; if you have little, give of your heart.

Old Proverb

We enjoy giving. It definitely has never been giving to get. But you cannot ever out give the getting if it is from the heart. We have been blessed for giving that is for danged sure.

Giving is so fulfilling, even if it's just a smile or a kind gesture we can make someone's day.

Beautiful post. My mother always said to give with warm hands, i.e., while we are still alive. I'm working on doing this and grateful I'm able to do so. Take care!

Wonderful post!! We don't know who we've ministered to by just giving away a smile.
I LOVE your comment at the lakehouse! Thank you, so much, for being an encouragement, and giving wisdom so freely. Have a nice week! xo

Great post for today, Ma, as it is Giving Tuesday :) Like the old adage, it is always better to give than to receive. And like you said, it doesn't even have to cost money!
