Chapter 11, Page 22, Book 20

Where
there is love there is life.

Day 22 - Thankful Sunday

Love is that condition  in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.

Robert A Heinlein

It’s Sunday and it’s my day to once again stop and reflect on the blessings of this past week. It’s been a  trying time for a few of my loved ones.  One of my grandson’s has tested positive for Covoid 19.  Thankfully he has only mild symptoms and is being quarantined at home. We’re praying that no one else in the family gets it.  It usually takes about 5 days for symptoms to show up and so far the news is good.  No one else has any symtoms.  As for myself and the rest of the family we are all good and we’re fine.

Thanksgiving has been on everyones mind and some have chosen for their own safety and that of their family, just to stay at home.  It’ll be a small gathering compared to some we’ve had, but we are thankful for the ones that will be able to make it and we’ll all be wearing masks and keeping a safe distance as our get together will be outside.

I’m thankful too, that we all have the option of making choices that best for each of us and could only wish that we were celebrating happier times.

I’m thankful that this year is almost over and that a vaccine is in sight. I think it’s the way forward to get rid of this virus and will be in line to get it when it becomes available.

The coming holiday season is a time for love of family and home.  It’s a time to celebrate what we have, not what we don’t. have.

Keep these thoughts in mind and share the love as best you can.  Even if that means distancing yourself from others.

Love is like the wind, you can’t see it but you can feel it.

I'm so thankful your grandson is doing ok and only has mild symptoms. It really disturbs me how many people are jam packing airports and determined to have Thanksgiving as usual. We can finally see a tiny light at the end of the tunnel and they are taking these chances now? I just don't get it.

Love is caring about another's happiness more than your own.

Glad to hear your grandson just has mild symptoms and no one else so far is showing signs of illness.

Thank goodness (that) it appears your grandson's is a mild case. Still mighty scary, tho. I love what you said about celebrating what we have v. what/who's missing. Right now's all we have; we should rejoice and be glad in it.

It is GOOD to know that all cases of the COVID are not drastic, Thank the Lord. WE too are glad there is a vaccine on the horizon. That should help by leaps.
Sending prayers for you and family,
Say safe
