Thanksgiving reveals itself as a very wholesome holiday. There’s turkey, bread rolls, stuffing and pumpkin pie, basically just a lot of food, but who doesn’t love food. So give it the love it deserves.
So many times over the years as we sat down to our family feast, we’d take turns going around the table telling what we are most thankful for and most said, it was for family. As a mom that makes me feel soooo good. Family is one of the most important parts of my life. I’m happy to hear it is in theirs too.
Every day might not be a good one but there is something good to be found in every day. We just have to look for it.
Never forget to say thanks for your blessings, they will multiply and increase.
The power of thankfulness is a cure for fear, anxiety, need to control, depression, self desructive behaviors , and the darkness of abuse. My prayer is that it helps you, not just to survive the holiday but to create and find moments of joy and gratitude
