Chapter 10, Page 6, Book 20

You shouldn’t rush something you want to last forever.

October 6th - Anything worth having is worth waiting for

There is no great achievement that is not the result of patient working and waiting.

J. G. Holland

Don’t discount the waiting periods, don’t get discouraged because it’s not happening as fast as you would like.  The longer it takes, the more there will be in store.  We need to have faith, to believe that we’re ready for what is coming and have patience to see what comes to pass

Have a little patience, you’re in the waiting room.  You’re not falling behind, things are right on schedule.  If you wait with the right attitude after patience has done it’s work, we’ll see things come for the good.

If something isn’t happening, I figure it’s not the right time.  Things happen for a reason and will work out if we wait.  When one door seems to be closing, another one will open.  We need to be ready for it if we are able to see the opportunity clearly.

Nothing worth having comes easy.

Don’t give up, if you continue to work at it, your effort will not go in vain.

A thing worth doing , it is worth doing doing well.  If it is worth having, it is worth waiting for, if it iis worth attaining, it is worth fighting for,, if it is worth experiencing, it is worth putting aside time for.

Oscar Wilde

Good things come to those that wait.

One of my favorite sayings, "God's timing is always perfect." (And who are we to argue?)

I like what Myra says. God's timing is always perfect so sometimes we need those waiting periods to teach us patience :)
