Say boo and scary on

October 31st - Happy halloween!

Ghosts and goblins come to play on October’s final day !

Rusty Fischer

We’ll probably hear more Boo’s today than we do any other time of year.  But most of them won’t be very scary.  More than not most are done in fun.Holloween has always been a fun time of year here at my house  a time for the kids to dress up and go begging for candy.

There is nothing more fun than getting a bucket full of candy for kids.  The trick is to limit some of the intake and save some for another day.  They get more than they need at one sitting for sure.

As a parent we’d always sort through it all to make sure it was safe to eat. Making sure everything was securely wrapped with no hidden tricks inside. I only hand out treats are that prepackaged and sealed.

I remember one year I dressed up as a ghost but when I opened the door to give out some treats, I scared the little ones outside my door so  badly, they couldn’t stop screaming, so   I never did that again. I want it to b a happy time not too scary to enjoy

I think most of us have already had the scariest year ever, so this Halloween, keep it simple and make it fun.  We  could all use a little more fun in our lives.

Nothing on Earth so beautiful as the final haul on Halloween.

Strange how Halloween has changed since I was a youngster. We used the term Trick or treat, but tricking was more prominent. No one I KNEW went door to door looking for candy. BUT we had fun making our own 'costumes' and went to our little town trying to guess who was dressed as what!
Have a good time tonight, and be safe when youare out trick or treating! LOL

What a shame (that) your ghost costume didn't turn out as you hoped! I don't recall any adults answering their doors in costume, but seeing our teachers and others dressed 'up' was delightful. Like, "Wow, they're really cool!" Beggars or not, I hope your Halloween's pretty cool, too.

Happy Halloween Ma! Too cute how you scared the kids with your ghost costume :) It will be interesting to see how many kids are out tonight; we plan to give candy with wearing gloves and masks.
