Chapter 10, Page 24, Book 20

If you dream it, you can do it.

Walt Disney

October 24th - where there is a will there is a way

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Eleanor Roosevelt

We should never give up on our dreams.  If there is a will  to do something a way will be found.  We can do most anything if we believe that we can do it.  It takes a lot of perservance to get it done and it’s not easy but it’s worth it in the end.

I’ve had a lots of dreams over the years and I’ve accomplished most of them.  I think right now I’’m living the dream.  I no longer have to work, I’m retired and enjoying life in the slow lane.  I don’t have a lot but I have what is needed and that’s enough for me.

I dreamt of being a mom to a dozen children, but I only got seven.  I guess the good Lord knew what he was doing there.  I had plenty to keep me busy as it was.  I dreamt of marrying my soul mate and I had the best husband ever.  We had 27 years together and I’m thankful for that.  Not everyone has someone to spend their time with that they truly love.

Even though I’m older now, I still have dreams of things I want to do and places I want to go and I believe that I’ll get there sooner or later.  We are never too old to stop dreaming.

While we can’t force dreams to happen, we can take steps toward actualizing them.  We must plan and work toward what we want.  Take small steps forward. Your dreams have value, even if you have setbacks, moving forward is the first step.  All it takes is a little planning and a lot of hard work.

If we are determined to do something a way can be found to achieve what we want.

Live the life of your dreams:  Be brave enough to live the life of your dreams according to your vision and purpose instead of the expectations and opinions of others.

Roy T. Bennett

I agree that dreaming is still important no matter how old we get!

I'm so glad most of your dreams came true. I'm lucky to say most of mine did too. We should never stop dreaming :)

Sweet Ma...I have felt as if I am in good spirits again. I think this sunshine is cheering me up. I need to make new dreams...I can see how we lose interest in life if there's nothing to look forward to...and this virus is doing that to many of us. When our dreams do not come true...maybe other things can make up for it. I feel I have been blessed in my life, many , many times. Four times for sure with my loving daughters. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

I like dreaming, too! Thing is, like you I'm living my best life. Years ago I wouldn't have placed a bet on that, but God had a better idea. When our Bible study leader was soliciting members' wish lists (aka, bucket lists) it dawned on me, I didn't have anything to say. That's a good thing.

PS - Do you remember the 50's movie, Cheaper by the Dozen? I loved that!

Great post. Earlier in the year I put dreams aside and took it day by day. I was so busy cancelling dreams that I'd planned that I was hesitant to move ahead with dreaming. I've notice in the last few weeks I'm starting to dream ahead. As the song goes in South Pacific -- "You got to have a dream. How will you have a dream come true?" Take care!
