Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.
Happiness isn’t a destination, it’s a habit. It’s what we do everyday to make life awesome. Like a river shapes land; the more we think and feel a certain way, the deeper the river channel becomes and the more we are to think and feel the same way in the future.
Happiness simply means finding joy in the moment, regardless of what you have or are doing. Everybody possesses the capability to choose happiness because ever attitude we have is a choice.
When we focus on the good in life our minds open to the ideas and opportunities that will help us to be more productive, effective and successful in life.
Exercise your brain for happiness every day and over time you’ll train it for happiness and long term success. You’ll have experiences of gratitude, gladness, moderation,, accomplishment and successful feelings in your life. When you are happy within , that energy ripples out far beyond your physical body, affecting others around you.
A happy life and happy thoughts go hand in hand, you can’t have one without the other. Negative thoughts inevitably show up but you don’t have to give into them. Reinforce your happy thoughts. Look at the bright side of things. Stay focused on the positive side of life. Life becomes a lot simpler when we simplify our thoughts and realize we must strive to maintain happiness if we want to thrive during our time on Earth.
Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.
