Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.
The power of music is inescapable. Many think it to be the universal language of the human race, alongside being the greatest form of communication on the planet. Even when we don’t understand the language of someone, we can still identify and appreciate good music when we hear it.
Music is sunshine. Like sunshine, music is a powerful force the can instantly almost chemically change your entire mood. Music gives us new energy and a stronger sense of purpose.
Listing to music stimulates more parts of the brain than any other human function. Music has been shown to stimulate thought to be forgotten memories in Alzheimer’s patients. In some cases like stroke, it can help patients to regain their speaking prowess.
Music is life. That’s why our hearts have beats.
The majority of music we listen to gives us some form of emotional buzz. It could be happiness, anger, or sadness, but it can stimulate these emotions in all of us.
Just like a smile can be the sunshine in someones’ day, so can music.
