Chapter 8, Page 9, Book 20

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.

Thornton Wilder

August 9th - rich beyond measure

Thankfulness is the quickest path to joy.

Jefferson Bethke

It hardly seems possible that another Sunday has rolled around again, but it was a good week and Ive much to be thankful for.  Every day has been a good day, no problems have come my way and that is a lot to be thankful for. If I could say two words to describe it, It would be, Thank You!

I feel like the wealthiest woman in the world.  Ive received so many blessings. They say if you want to feel rich, count your blessings instead of your cash.

All of my family is doing well and are healthy and safe, I have a nice home that is comfortable and I have plenty of food to eat and some to share with others too.  We got some much needed rain, and the farmers are happy.  Summer crops are making their way to the farmers markets for us to enjoy.

Progress was made in all that I have to do, while I didnt do much at least I was able to do something.  My list of blessings is unending and I find my self happy to be alive.

Ive got to be thankful for all my friends and family that stand by ready always to help and lend a hand.  They are my treasures here on earth.  Thank you all for being a friend.

Appreciation can make a day, even change a life.  Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.

Today's 'bulls-eye' is that quote by Thornton Wilder. I'm delighted to hear you and your family are all healthy and wealthy -- in those things that matter most. Aren't we so very blessed? Hugs!

I was counting my blessings earlier today and one that came to mind was my blog buddies. I've so enjoyed my long-distance friends and so grateful to have met new bloggers during this difficult time. What a gift! Hope your son's birthday celebration was fun.
