Chapter 8, Page 6, Book 20

Mistakes are proof you are trying.

Jennifer I. Lim

August 6th - It’s ok to make a mistake

Mistakes have the power to turn you into something better than you were before.

Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that making mistakes is okay.  They are proof that we are trying.  I don’t know why we are so afraid of mistakes.  When we try to make our life mistake free then we are also blocking ourselves from all the amazing experiences life has to offer us.  None of us is perfect.

We have to have the courage to try, to sometimes fail and then pick ourselves back up again and try it again.  Practice makes perfect they say and I’ve had a lot of practice in trying to do things over and over again. I still am not perfect, but a work in progress.

We should have no regrets only lessons in life. That’s how we keep going and growing. We all hate being wrong.  We hate making mistakes and not being perfect, but as today’s quote reminds us, they are only proof that we are trying.
They show we are putting forth our time and effort to make things work. Don’t let a mistake ruin your entire day.  We can only try to do our best. No one can ask more than you do your best and give it all you’ve got with what you have.

If you never try to do things, you’ll never know if you can do them.  If we are trying to progress in life, we must be willing to make some mistakes, we must be willing to lose sometimes, and keep going no matter what.

Mistakes are a part of life, we take action and we learn from them.

Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.

Powerful reminder! Curious, isn't it -- how we desperately try to avoid making mistakes. On more than one occasion, I've tried to cover them up before anyone noticed. I like the idea of telling myself, "It's okay."
Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was a little kinder, starting with ourselves.

I often think that only the person who is working can make mistakes - the ones who don't work - can't!

I like your last line, Ma; we do all make mistakes and we all learn from them. It is indeed how we grow!

I.m reading this as we are broke down in Gary Indiana. I loved the First and Last quotes. The eat in the middle make a great evening sandwich. And I enjoyed every bite.
Love from GAry,
Sherry, jack & JJ, On the Road again (soon).

That is to say "THE MEAT IN THE MIDDLE."

i just love that first quote about dancing in the rain. if more of us had that attitude, life would be so much better.
