The most wasted of days is one without laughter
August 1st - don’t forget to laugh
There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.
In these days when we find so little to laugh about it’s good to remember that laughter is good for us. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to diseases. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the bodies natural feel good chemicals. Endorphins promote and over all sense of well being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
So why not laugh? If you ask me, we could all use a little more laughter in our lives. Laughter connects us with others and you’ll find yourself being more lighthearted and silly, and give those around you more to laugh about.
Laughter can help you get through the tough times, so laugh a lot and share that good humor with others and make them feel better too.
Always laugh when you can, it is cheap medicine.
