Chapter 7, Page 8, Book 20

When you think about giving up, think about why you started.

John Di Lemme

July 8th - it starts with why

Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it.  The time will pass anyway.

Sometimes we get discourages so we have to find ways that will motivate us before we give up.  Before we quit , think about the reasons why we even took a step towards change.  Remember your dreams are just dreams until you put in the work.

Persistance is the key if you want to win.  Understanding and believing that persistence delivers results will keep you moving forward.

Sometimes we forget to stop and smell the flowers. and forget to celebrate the victories our efforts have created.  So be proud of what you’ve achieved, Learn to celebrate small wins to achieve big goals.

The question is what you’re getting out of the project going to pay off in the end.  If you don’t think the investment of your time will be worth the reward, It might be time to throw in the towel.  but if you think you’ll be rewarded for sticking with the project it may be worth continuing.

Consider the value of the journey as well as the value of the destination.  It all circles around what made you start your venture in the first place.  The decision ultimately comes down to you .

Quitting should never be an option if you want to succeed.

Its hard to beat a person who never gives up.

When you persist you can get there, one step at a time

Remembering to celebrate the small wins gives you motivation to keep working toward your goal. The little things always matter :)

I like that persistence does pay off if we keep at it. But you are right, there comes a time when we might have to step back and look at our efforts and see if it is worth pursuing something or not.

Love that quote by Mr/Ms Anonymous!
But what speaks loudest to me? "Consider the value of the journey, as well as the value of the destination." For someone who's always been focused on getting to the 'finish line', that's pretty profound.

I must burn this into my brain, I love the simple logic of this:
Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.
