Chapter 7, Page 26, Book 20

A moment of gratitude makes a difference in your attitude.

Bruce Wilkinson

July 26th- lets be grateful we made it through another week.

Develop an attitude of gratitude.  Say thank youth everyone you meet for everything the do for you.

Brian Tracy

Sundays have become the day I take time to reflect on all the things that I have to be thankful for.  More than anything I’m grateful for my health and that of my family.  It’s so very good to hear from them as they do a weekly check in, to know that they are all healthy and safe.

So many are complaining about what they don’t have these days, that I think it’s better to think of what we do have.  We have our health and that is beyond wealth.  So many have suffered and even died from this virus.

Why some catch it and some don’t is a mystery, but I think a lot is due to the safe measures we take.  Wearing masks, washing hands, keeping safe distances all count and they are something we can all do.

So I’m very grateful this week has been kind to us and we are all here to enjoy another day.

We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.

I am so thankful for my health and my family's health as well. I don't know why so many people are making this political and intentionally choosing against taking precautions. Have a wonderful Sunday!

100%! 'Used to be, when I'd spot the 'first star' I'd wish for all sorts of stuff. Yet this morning when I looked up (before daybreak), my wish was simple: "Please, keep us healthy. Thank you."

I do thank God a lot and often that we have been kept safe during this time and no one in our family has gotten the virus. I'm with you, Ma, it is weird how some get it and others don't. I often wonder if it was how healthy someone was to begin with and how many colds and other sicknesses they got throughout the year versus someone who was very healthy and had no sicknesses or colds. I don't know. I do agree good basic hygiene is essential for stopping the spread of any disease, virus, illness. I continue honestly to be frustrated with those people walking alone down the street with no one in sight and wearing a mask. I saw a neighbor outside in her front yard alone, not talking to anyone else, wearing a mask. (all my sightings I was inside the car driving)

I smiled as I read this thinking of my mama. I heard my daddy say to my mama, "Grace, you would find something good to say about the devil."
Without skipping a beat she turned from the kitchen stove and said, "Well Frank, he does work hard!"
Yes Gratitude can find something good.

We all need to develop an attitude of Gratitude.

Another thing, that a lot of people in our Beloved Country, right now, need to do.

Instead of just concentrating on all the bad stuff they perceive.

Find what's good in your life, and go work on, increasing it. Yourself.
