Chapter 7, Page 18, Book 20

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether twenty or eighty.  Anyone who keeps learning today is young.  The greatest thing is life is to keep your mind young.

Henry Ford

July 18 - I’m willing to learn something new every day.

Life does not have to be easy to be wonderful.

Today’s quotes are what I call words from the wise.  Wisdom is being true to our inner self  thus bringing harmony and peace into o ur lives.  It’s discovering a new idea or solution that meets everyone’s need.  Wisdom is also honoring people and caring about their rights.  It is reflected in the courtesy with which we treat others.

By the time I got old, I figured I’d learned most of what I had to, but I was wrong.  We are never too old to learn more. And the more we learn, the more we want to know.  It’s one of those endless circles of life.

Every day is new and with it comes new things.  Life is never boring.  I like the idea of finding something new each day that I didn’t know before.  The state of our life is nothing more than a reflection of the state of our minds.

Not everything we have to learn is learned in a school.  Life is a school all in itself. Lessons are found in all we do.  Its one of the things that never stops.  We are truly never too old to learn something new.

You can stay young by focusing on a dream instead of on a regret.

Like our late great friend Rick said, "Every day's a school day."
I'm going to focus on that last quote!

Great to remember. The more I learn the more things I find to learn about. Certainly during this difficult time, learning has been the key to keeping upbeat and engaged.

Its always good to keep on learning. So many different ways to do it these days too between YouTube, podcasts, etc. Keeps our minds young I think!
