Chapter 6, Page 14, Book 20

Not all of us can do great things.  But we can do small things with great love.

Mother Teresa

June 14th - it’s always the little things that make big things happen

If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.

Napoleon Hill

It’s the little things in life that often mean the most. One day we look back and discover the little things were the big things in our lives. Usually the small things are what actually make the moment great.

Our lives will improve when we become aware of all the great small things in our lives. Its all about giving before taking. Its all about gratitude and the passion for the details. Just like the great coffee you enjoyed this morning, the beautiful smile of the people in your life. and the amazing customer service you experienced yesterday. Don’t forget these moments, be aware of them and appreciate them. They shape you and your life for the better.

Making small things great is easier than you might think because it comes down to one thing only: kindness.  Be gentler and think how you can use the small things in life to make people around you happier.  Give everywhere you go and go the extra mile when nobody else does.  We’re all given the same hours each day.  But the way we spend each minute of those hours makes a great difference.

The question isn't one of managing the clock, but one of managing ourselves with respect to the time we have.  Each minute is a little thing and yet with respect to our personal productivity, to manage the minute is the secret of success.  Remember to smile, make the compliment, send the positive note and a word of encouragement.  We should do these important things without hesitation.

These little things which become such big things brings a prospective to our lives and makes us grateful.

Small things do count, don’t forget them, make them great!

Stay faithful in the large and taking on the world but stay faithful in those things small  - because its the small things the size of a mustard seed, that ultimately move mountains.

Powerful! I've found the older I get, the more messages like yours mean to me. I'll never forget when, in the Fall of 2017 Tom and I stopped at a small-town café. As we approached, an old man was coming out and stepped back to hold the door wide. "How are y'all doing today?" -- He said with a look right in the eye … and the expectation of a 'real' response. That little cafe's only a 20 min. drive down the road, but I think that's when I knew I belonged here …. or, at least away from the Big City. Happy Sunday, Ma!

Little things add up to big things that help improve peoples lives so it is good to do them and keep doing them.

We do get carried away in life and miss the little things. I remember a song from the 50's "Little things mean a lot." Soooooo true.
