It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home.

Chapter 2, Page 22, Book 20

For small creatures such as we are the vastness is bearable only through love .

Carl Sagan

February 22nd - going together hand in hand

Remember we all stumble, everyone of us. That’s why it’s a comfort to go hand in hand.

Emily Kimbrough

The universe is quite vast and earth itself is very large. In the grand scheme of things we are but tiny blips in time and space.  Being surrounded by such a vastness is easier to deal with when we love and are loved in return

We must meet the challenge rather wish it were not before us.

William J. Brennan Jr.

Wishing for problems to go away does nothing but create more problems.  Taking steps to meet your challenges is the hardest step but because you have faced your problems together, you can step up and then through the tough times in life.

Holding hands is a promise to one another that, just for a moment, that you don't have to face the world alone.

When we join hands together, life is always better.

I think taking that very first step to solve an issue is often the hardest. It reminds me of that old saying---how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! (although I would certainly never eat an elephant at all).
Great post-happy Sunday to you- xo Diana

Facing our challenges together sure makes them seem less fearsome.
Love the idea of holding hands. Like what Robert Fulghum wrote about in "Everything I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten."

Love the family pic looking at the ocean's edge. And YES Wishing problems would go away does create more problems.

Sharing problems do lighten the load.

So true to take the challenges on and not ignore them. That is how we end up learning and persevering by getting out there and getting things done, unpleasant as they might be.

challenges must be faced. and it helps to know we're not alone. "Holding hands is a promise to one another that, just for a moment, that you don't have to face the world alone."

Life is always better with a friend to share it with, whether they're down the hall or at the other end of the computer. Have a great week!
