Chapter 1, Page 18, Book 20

Where you are today matters for who you’ll be tomorrow.

January 18th - today matters

Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today.

Mark Twain

Today is the most important day we’ll ever have.  Today will influence how we’ll be living our life tomorrow and the day after.  We are what we are today because of the decisions we made yesterday.

If we can handle today correctly , tomorrow will take care of its self.  If you choose to show love in a meaningful tangible way today, then our day will not be wasted. Regardless of the size of the action or the nature of the recipient, it will matter.

There are words only you can say.  There is knowledge only you can give.  If you really want to make your days matter, you can.  We need to believe that regardless of what has happened previously in our lives,, that today’s choice can make tomorrow better.

Success doesn’t just occur one day in our lives   Every day of our life is preparation for the next.  We all want tomorrow to be better, that’s why today matters.

The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.

H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

This was a great one, Ma! So true today is the best day of our lives! Now we just have to go out and live like it is! Loved that last quote about anxiety. As I struggle with anxiety, I'm going to memorize this and remember how it is stealing my joy and living for today! Have a great Saturday!

Definitely! Today is the only January 18, 2020 I will ever have. I can't fix anything on January 17 and worrying about January 19 won't change tomorrow. Have a great January 18, 2020.

NO ONE could have said that better. This is a 'out of the park' post. I copied it and want to include it to the next note to our family.

I find that every day I have to commit to starting fresh and new. It is a new slide - forget the rest.

"We are what we are today because of the decisions we made yesterday." AMEN!
Still, I love the 'fresh start' feeling that comes with each sunrise. Like Tony Robbins' saying, "The past does not equal the future."

i live my life one day at a time. planning ahead always seems to disappoints me. "We need to believe that regardless of what has happened previously in our lives,, that today’s choice can make tomorrow better." good advice today. i'll take to heart.

Read a variety of titles to ensure that your child receives a well-rounded education. How-to articles can give you a variety of hands-on activities to do with your child. Before you child begins studying a specific subject such as World History, visit your local library and check out a children's history book along with an age appropriate book. Use the children's history book to give you a broad overview of the information that should be taught, and use the other book for specific information to include in your lesson plan.

There is no real dress code when you decide to go out and get a massage. If you are concerned about dressing appropriate, speak with the spa or your message therapist beforehand. By addressing clothing concerns, you can ensure that you won't feel embarrassed or uncomfortable during your massage. If there is an area you also don't want massaged like your behind, tell the therapist before starting.
