Chapter 1, Page 17, Book 20

Believe you can and you’re halfway there.

Theodore Roosevelt

January 17th - always believe

Believe in yourself.  You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.

Roy T, Bennett

If you believe in yourself, then half of the job is already done. Believing in ourselves is so important and once you realize that youre capable of and believe you are able to achieve anything you put your mind to youve already won half the battle.

Achievement is overcoming the power of your own mind, if you don’t believe in yourself, who will?  There is a big difference between exclaiming you can do something and actually believing that you can.  If you don’t think you can make it happen, it will never happen.  If you have no doubt in your mind, you will do whatever it takes to get there , you will find a way to achieve your goal.

Being positive has never been so important as it is now in today’s society.  With media covering on the negative, we have to find ways to inspire ourselves.  If we focus on spreading positivity and inspiration, miracles will start to happen.  You can do whatever it is that you believe you can do.

You may be the only person left who believes in you, but it’s enough.  It takes just one star to pierce a universe of darkness. Never give up.

Richelle E. Goodrich

Keep believing and you can do whatever it is that you want to do....

Its so true, Ma, that we have to find ways to stay positive because there is so much negativity out there. I won't stop believing this world can be kinder, it just takes a group of us to do so and then that group to spread and who knows what could happen!

In spite of my parent's unwavering support, I was (too) often my own worst enemy with little-to-no self-confidence. Thankfully -- if not belatedly -- life's challenges made me stiffen my spine.
Are you familiar with Ken Dodd's "Happiness"? I'd never heard of him, but Victor (Time for Reflections) shared it on his blog yesterday. Despite my anxiety, I was jitterbugging in my chair and the world looked like a much nicer place.

It's sometimes a challenge to keep a positive outlook, but it's worth the struggle. Negativity never benefited anyone, and we're all capable of doing, being, and overcoming so much more than we believe we can. But first... we have to believe.

You are right - we do need to be positive and it is hard in this world. It seems to me people want to complain and be angry. I can't figure it out myself. I want to be around happy people.

BELIEVE is a powerful word. there is much wisdom in your post today. we have to trust and believe in ourselves before we move forward with the people around us.

Look online for printable material. There are a number of websites that have free information on topics. You should be able to find everything from math practice to spelling lists. Using these can reduce the cost of your homeschooling endeavors. The only thing you have to pay for is printer ink!

When you have a client that you are giving a massage to, ask whether or not they are comfortable. The last thing that you will want is someone who does not feel secure when you are giving a massage. Additionally, they will be very tight and tough to massage if they are anxious.
