Love is what’s in the room with ou at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.

The story of Mary giving birth at Christmas is one that I remember most.  They traveled miles only to find there was no room for them in the inn.  The child was wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger of straw.

The overwhelming faith of Mary took her to places she could have never dreamed of. She took the words of an angel to be a sign of God and went where she was told, never doubting.  Would that we could all have that kind of faith and obedience too.

Good Joseph ever beside her to help when needed.  What a holy family.  Ever to be remembered at Christmas and through the years.

For centuries men have kept an appointment with Christmas.  Christmas means fellowship, feasting, giving and receiving, a time of good cheer, home.

Mary is a great example of faith in action. Always good to have a family to love.

SWEET READ for this Christmas Season. Amen to Betty's comment. Putting one's self in her shoes may be wonderful, but scary in that time. Christmas is the best, and I love the family picture. YOu are blessed with such a family!
Love from Florida and the repair shop.

I love this family photo so much, Ma! Aside from DD and DS#6, I'm trying my hand at identifying the other boys. That little fella on the right (in red) sure looks full of mirth mischief. :)
I don't know what I'd do without my old photo albums. She doesn't dwell on it, but I feel really sad for my DIL … most of her and her siblings childhood photos were destroyed in (her parent's) housefire.
