Chapter 12, Page 14, Book 19

Joy to the world
Joy to the world
Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Let Earth receive her King

December 14th- Joy in the Moment

The joy that you give to others is the joy that comes back to you.

John Greenleaf Wittier

With each passing week, we get one step closer to the most wonderful time of the year. We happily cross off every day that inches us closer We’re check the list and you better believe, we’re checking twice.

And while we’re at it we need to enjoy the JOY of each day.  It will go by in the blink of an eye.

We need to learn that it is in giving that we receive the greater gift — the gift of joy!

Christms is all about love, family and children.  It doesn’t matter what we eat or what presents we get as long as the holidays are spent with loved ones.

The word present is a wonderful one. It reminds me that every day both the past and the present are huge gifts.

Christmas is a time for Joy!  Happy Happy Christmas !

Christmas !  The very word brings joy to our hearts.

Always good to have joy indeed in our hearts :) And this is a good time of year to think of the joy we get from the Lord!

Joy to the World!
I used to think if I had a daughter, I'd name her 'Joy.' Didn't happen, but I still love that name.

Reminds me of a verse from a song I used to teach my Sunday school students: "I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart. (Where?) Down in my heart, (Where?) down in my heart. I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down in my heart to stay..."

It is hard to give joy away because you keep getting it back.

I sang that song so many times that Susan sang in her comment. It actually made me feel better just singing it. Oh and reading the comments also brings Joy. Sorry I am late, been a little under the weather.
