Chapter 10, Page 20, Book 19

Time is money

Benjamin Franklin

October 20th - grab the moment

Time is the most valuable coin in your life, You and you alone will determine how that coin will be spent.  Be careful that you do not let other people spend it for you.

Carl Sandburg

Time equals money is one of the great laws of labor.  The less time you waste, the more you can get done and the more money you can make.  But that does not mean we need to work all the time.  There are some things that are more important than money such as our family and our health.  We cannot work to the point where we forsake aur health and time spent with family. For me, time is more valuable than money. You can use your time to make money, but you can’t buy more time.

Each day has only 24 hours, nobody has any more than anyone else.  Every single minute is unique and once gone can never be regained.  We hear people say I don’t have time to do that, But truth is, we make the time for what we really want to do.  If you want the time, you will make it so.

Each day another 24 hours is deposited into each of our bank accounts.  We get a choice how to spend these hours and must decide how much we give away.  Some waste these hours by letting tham slip away.  We all have a choice how we will spend our days.  If time is money then money must be time.

There are times when it is better to have more time than money.  We each must decide how much our time is worth.

Remember:  Lost time is never found again.

Benjamin Franklin

Off to spend the day, church first. BUT yes to family time. Family time spent pays for some great memories and blessings. For the workaholic mind it takes real concentration to make sure time is spent wisely!

Amen! While I can't take back the days I spent more waking hours at work than with my husband … I'm very thankful for our current circumstances. So far, we seem to be more appreciative of the 3-4 days we get to spend together. But he and I both know, if this part-time job becomes more demanding, there's no compromise.

What amazes me about time is that it is the same 24 hours a day, but why do the work hours seem to drag and the time we're off seem to go by so fast? It is good though to use our time wisely!
