Chapter 9, Page 29, Book 19

Things are seldom what they seem.

W.S. Gilbert

September 29th - Things are not as they appear.

The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances.

Atisa

It appears that it is still summer here at my house, even though the aalendar say’s it is officially fall.  Except for the leaves falling from my neighbors tree there is no evidence of fall anywhere here at my house.

The temps have been very warm.  Close to 90 degrees some days.  It’s like summer is no hurry to say goodbye.  She is very slow to leave us this year.

Yes looks are very deceiving here,  It looks and feels like summer here, but it truly is fall.  I’m trying to be thankful for all these lovely summer like days and will not wish it to be otherwise.  The cooler days of fall while much anticipated are not here yet and so we wait. They say our temps are way above normal for this time of year, but we’ve got to ;enjoy and be thankful for each and every day!
.
And at the same time they were experiencing snow storms in the north west this  past weekend. It doesn’t appear that they are experiencing fall there either.

Every day no matter the weather, we must make our own sunshine...

"Every exit is an entry somewhere." Gosh, I LOVE that!
We, too, are breaking heat records down here; sadly, no rain in sight. I told Tom if this keeps up, he should just sell the mower because we'll have nothing but a big old dirt lot. We must look a little harder to discover the good in these days.

Today is definitely summer in NYC and Thursday the prediction is real fall weather. There are tough days, but I still keeping looking for the sunshine and usually I can find it. Wishes for a great week!

We are enjoying cooler than normal temperatures here which is nice. I did hear Montana got a lot of snow. I wonder if this will be an indication of a wild winter for them. We too wonder down here in Phoenix with how weird the weather has been this year if our winter will be a bit wild too.

But so true to find something great about every single day we are privileged to live.
