Chapter 8, Paage 15, Book 19

It’s nice to be important; but it’s more important to be nice.

John Templeton

Don’t do what you do for applause, do what you do you think is important

In a world of people who couldn’t care less, be someone who couldn’t care more.

Author Unknown

I’ve met a lot people over the years that thought they were better than me. They thought they were too important to be nice. If you were not a member of their club, you didn't matter at all. But the truth is that it doesn’t matter who we are, it is always important to be nice.

There is never a time when our own importance should matter over that of another. Others actions can hurt but we don’t need to be like them. Remember no matter who we are, others should matter to us and we need to be nice to them.

The nice people in this world will be remembered longer that those that think they are too important to bother. We need each other and we need to be there for each other.

Kind people are the best kind of people.

Very wise timely advice today, Ma! We can be kind to everyone out there even those who think they are better than we are.

I liked your post today. Too many people forget where they come from. I know a lady who was raised same as me...she likes to make fun of others...I always wonder why?/ does she forget how we were teased growing up, just because we were poor? So sad. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

Not sure why, but I'm mighty surprised that others made the mistake to look down on you. The last 15 years I worked for a woman who believed a person's IQ/their worth, if you will, was commensurate to their job title. Rather than take offense, I found her posturing laughable.

You hit some truths here dear lady. Yep there are those who seem to take pride in 'looking down on someone.' And there are those who expect 'a check mark in some block,' for getting down on my level. I smile, and be nice, realizing the person has no concept of 'NICE' on their part.

If I am above anyone, they surely must be in terrible shape. LOL.

Love from down this way,
